About Susannah
Susannah Armstrong is a Production Underwriter specializing in high-net-worth personal lines. She leverages her deep market knowledge and carrier relationships to identify the best fit for each unique risk, routinely handling challenging accounts such as high-value homes in areas with elevated wildfire exposure. With a diverse background across several industries, she brings a well-rounded perspective to niche and nonstandard requests and earns clients’ trust by approaching every placement with adaptability, responsiveness, and integrity.
An energetic professional with more than 15 years of experience, Susannah began her insurance career at Wells Fargo Insurance Services as an Executive Assistant and, with the encouragement of colleagues, then moved on to the personal lines team, gaining experience on both the retail and wholesale sides of the business. Before joining Brown & Riding, she held several roles focused on affluent personal lines, including Production Underwriter with Novatae Risk Group and AVP, Excess & Surplus Accommodation Advisor with Marsh McLennan Agency.
Susannah has CPRM and CISR designations, holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The College of Charleston, and is a licensed insurance producer in multiple states. She is an active member of PRMA and a past committee member of IIABSC. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Tallulah.
