About Justin
Justin Mansfield is a Vice President and Broker who specializes in finding Primary and Excess casualty coverage for construction, real estate, and hospitality. He strives to be a resource that clients and partners can rely on, approaching problems collaboratively, communicating honestly, and working relentlessly to find solutions to their most challenging problems. His professional philosophy centers around work ethic and an abundance mindset. He believes consistent, persistent hard work will always win out when coupled with creativity and strong relationships. Rather than viewing opportunities as transactional or finite, he prioritizes building trust and maintaining relationships that create success and long-term value for everyone involved.
Justin began his insurance career in 2016 at an insurtech startup after playing professional hockey. He was introduced to the E&S space in 2018 and spent five years helping his retail clients place complex casualty risks. He later joined Brown & Riding in 2024.
Throughout his career, Justin has found the relationships he has built within the industry to be the most fulfilling. In a vast industry, he enjoys how small it feels to those who are part of it. Justin is a member of the Massachusetts Association of Insurance Agents Young Agents Committee (MAIA YAC) and regularly attends the WSIA Annual Marketplace.
