About Jeffery
Jeffery Short is a Principal and Broker at Brown & Riding who specializes in casualty. Jeffery joined Brown & Riding in 2017 and has nearly 30 years of experience in wholesale insurance. He is highly experienced in helping clients address their insurance needs and requirements. A California native, he has spent his entire career in the Los Angeles, however, his clients are located throughout the United States. He is well respected by his clients and carriers and is adept at finding creative solutions to difficult problems.
In 2019, Jeffery was honored as a winner of Insurance Business America’s Top Specialist Brokers, recognized for his unique expertise as a Hospitality specialist. In addition to writing Hospitality accounts, Jeffery also is involved in Construction, Products Liability, Security Guard Contractors, Real Estate, and LRO accounts for primary and excess coverages.
Jeffery is a graduate of San Diego State University with a degree in Business Management. He has been a WSIA (formerly NAPSLO) committee member since 2008. In his downtime, Jeffery enjoys golfing, travelling, and spending time with his wife and two sons.
