About George
George Sella is Co-Leader of Brown & Riding’s national Construction Practice, a knowledgeable and dedicated team of construction experts across the country, specializing in casualty, property, environmental, and professional liability. Together, they are adept at placing General and Excess Liability policies (including annual, project specific, OCIP/CCIP, Builder’s Risk, and Professional Liability) and commercial and residential Wrap-ups.
George has strong specialization in Construction and Real Estate, with a focus on Project business. He has been heavily involved with the placement of projects nationwide, ranging from industrial plants, highway expansion projects, museum expansions and remodel work, hotels, and mixed-use projects, as well as condo and apartment projects across the country. George is constantly expanding his knowledge base in the construction arena and stays abreast of changes in the legal climate.
George joined Brown & Riding in 2010 after graduating with a double major in Risk Management & Insurance and Managerial Finance from the University of Mississippi. Starting in an entry-level role, he quickly demonstrated his capabilities, earning a promotion to Associate Broker within one year. After just two more years, he advanced to Broker and became a Principal in 2015. At that time, he also became the youngest shareholder in the company’s history, achieving this milestone in just five years.
