About Terence
Terence Babler is a Vice President and Broker. He specializes in real property solutions for Multi-Family/Habitational risks, LRO, Warehousing and Manufacturing, and Builder’s Risk for both new projects and renovation. His team is devoted to navigating the ever-changing market – constantly researching, adapting, and negotiating – to provide timely and competitive risk solutions. Trust is paramount for his team, and they are adept at helping retail partners be knowledgeable, trusted, and competitive for their clients.
Terence has worked as a wholesale broker since 2010. During that time, he focused primarily on hard-to-place multifamily properties and Builder’s Risk. He was a top producer for one of the nation’s largest Habitational programs. Prior to insurance, he spent 10 years running a utility construction company in North Texas. Before that, he worked for six years in Event Marketing and Special Events Promotion for companies like Coca-Cola, Kodak, and NASCAR.
Beyond his work at Brown & Riding, Terence was also appointed President of the Texas Surplus Lines Association (TSLA) for 2026. He has been a member of both the TSLA Board of Directors and TSLA Executive Committee for six years. He is a regular attendee and supporter of WSIA events. Outside of work, he is an avid snow skier, fly fisherman, and mountain biker.
