About Taelor
Taelor Rubin is an Assistant Vice President and Broker who specializes in finding casualty coverage for real estate, hospitality, contractors, and products risks. Always striving to add value, she ensures that her team produces solutions at only the highest of standards. She loves working through challenging deals, finding coverage that is priced and tailored to the client’s needs. Respectful of clients’ time, Taelor is direct and upfront about her ability to help. If she is not the best match for a particular client, she leverages her strong relationships with tenured brokers and underwriters to connect the client with someone who can get the job done.
While studying insurance at the University of Mississippi, Taelor was drawn to the casualty and property space and began her insurance career at Brown & Riding’s Service Center in 2014. During her tenure, she has worked in multiple B&R locations including Oxford, Chicago, and Atlanta, and is now working out of the Tampa office. Since joining the company as a Technical Assistant, she has built a successful career, steadily progressing through increasingly senior roles, including Assistant Vice President in 2019 and Broker in 2024.
Taelor earned her CRIS designation in 2023. She was Director of Special Events for Young Risk Professionals of Georgia from 2024-2026 until she moved to Florida. She actively attends events for YRP (Young Risk Professionals), IICF, and IIAB of Tampa Bay. Outside of work, she enjoys golf, hot yoga, and going to concerts.
