About Robert
Robert Farish is a Broker in B&R’s Property Practice, specializing in Real Estate, Construction, and Public Entity. He excels at enhancing coverage for insureds within the softening market and works to secure lower premiums while increasing coverage from the previous policy. His team of 15 professionals handles all kinds of property risks in a timely, professional manner. Robert values diligence and transparency above all else and enjoys assembling shared, layered deals that exceed client expectations. Together, he and his team have market access and relationships that are second to none, providing the most robust coverage for the insured.
With a strong family history in the industry, Robert knew early on that he wanted to pursue an insurance career. He began his journey in 2021 at Brown & Riding as a Production Assistant after finishing college. He has been steadily rising through B&R’s ranks, becoming Broker in 2025 and Assistant Vice President in 2026.
Robert has a degree in Risk Management & Insurance from the University of Mississippi and is a member of WSIA and Young Risk Professionals of Houston. He was also a member of Gamma Iota Sigma, a fraternal organization promoting careers in insurance. Outside of the office, Robert enjoys golfing and other sports.
