About Hayes
Hayes Atkinson is an Assistant Vice President and Broker specializing in hospitality, multi-family/habitational, and coastal wind placements. He adeptly navigates the ever-changing and volatile property market of Florida and beyond and is skilled at finding placements despite steep premiums and limited capacity for wind coverage. He approaches each transaction prioritizing trust and responsiveness, guaranteeing that clients have transparent communication and quick turnaround times throughout the marketing process.
Beginning his career in 2019, Hayes interned at Brown & Riding’s Oxford office while studying at the University of Mississippi. He was drawn to insurance as an opportunity to utilize his problem-solving skills in a relationship-driven business. After graduation, he moved to Tampa to start full-time as a Production Assistant. Since then, he has steadily risen through the company’s ranks, including becoming Broker in 2025 and Assistant Vice President in 2026.
Hayes is a member of the Insurance Agents of Tampa Bay (IATB) and Pinellas Association of Insurance Agents (PAIA). He has a degree in Risk Management and Insurance. Outside the office, he loves the outdoors and is frequently seen fishing, boating, or at the beach.
