About Dylan
Dylan Anderson is a Broker who specializes in project-specific builder’s risk placements. He focuses on large-scale real estate development and complex renovation projects, including historic buildings, structural renovations, and other existing structures. He also has extensive experience with complex infrastructure projects and CAT-exposed risks. His team has access to virtually every builder’s risk market, including those that are exclusive or limited wholesale appointment only.
Dylan’s guiding professional philosophy is to do right by his partners while keeping the insured’s best interests at the center of every decision. With each project, he identifies and evaluates their unique exposures and determines how to best present them to the insurance market. He strives to be an extension of his retail partners’ team, not just an access point to the E&S marketplace.
Beginning his insurance career in 2020, Dylan interned with Brown & Riding while completing his degree. As a finance student with a business-oriented mind, he was drawn to the growth opportunities, relationship-building, and long-term career success that the wholesale insurance industry offered. After graduation, he joined Brown & Riding full-time. Dylan earned the Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation in 2022. He is a regular attendee of WSIA, IRMI, and the Builder’s Risk & Construction Symposium. Outside of work, he enjoys bicycling, playing golf, attending sporting events, and spending time with his dogs and family.
