About Chris
Chris Laeng joined Brown & Riding in 2014 as a Production Assistant in the Management & Professional Liability department. He was promoted to Associate Broker in 2017 and became a Broker in 2019. In 2022, he was further promoted to Assistant Vice President. Chris contributes to a national team of specialists, using his industry expertise to help navigate through the complex and challenging environment of the Management & Professional Liability sector.
Prior to joining B&R, Chris began his career on the operations side of the industry, first as an Underwriter and then as a Liability & Bodily Injury Claim Handler. His work in these roles supplied him with a strong foundation of industry experience and knowledge that he brought with him to the wholesale side.
Chris has previously served as a Core Group Team Member for the North Bay Networking Group — an organization whose mission is to leverage group members’ collective social networks to help individuals build resumes, sharpen interview skills, and connect professionals with opportunities in the community. In his free time, he enjoys sports, music, fishing, and spending time with his family.
