About Bill
Bill Lally began working in the insurance industry in 2011 and has been focused on property throughout his career. He has experience as both an underwriter and wholesale broker and is an expert at handling tough property risks. With his expertise, innovation, and ability to find quality solutions, even under the most challenging circumstances, Bill is a go-to for many retailers because he has a track record of success where other wholesalers have been unsuccessful. He joined Brown & Riding in 2021 as a Senior Vice President and Property Broker and became a company Principal in 2022.
Bill is highly motivated and driven and has held his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation since 2012, achieving this designation within one year of graduating from college with a double major in Insurance & Risk Management and also Economics. He has also previously served on the Board of the Marine Multi-Peril Society (Mariners) in Chicago, a large insurance property and marine society, from 2016 to 2018.
