About Ben
Ben Alexander is a property broker specializing in multi-family/habitational, retail, warehousing/industrial, manufacturing, and builder’s risk. He helps his clients win and retain business by leveraging his market knowledge and relationships while being available, proactive, transparent, and consistent throughout the placement process.
Ben loves the fast-paced nature of the wholesale brokerage industry and the unique position Brown & Riding has in the marketplace as a collaborative and creative firm, driven by specialization and transparency with clients.
A graduate of Baylor University, Ben spent the first part of his career in the healthcare field where he held various sales and business development roles. In 2012, he was introduced to the insurance industry, specifically wholesale broking. It quickly proved to be an ideal career fit. After 10 years as a property broker at another wholesaler, Ben joined Brown & Riding as Vice President in 2022. In 2025, he was named Principal and Senior Vice President.
