About Austin
Austin Hebert is a Vice President and Broker, specializing in casualty insurance for construction, energy, and environmental contractors. His main focuses are oil & gas service contractors, products accounts with tough MSA requirements, and new residential and commercial roofing contractors. He sees himself as an extension of the retailer’s marketing division, partnering with clients to provide easy-to-understand options for complex risks. With every submission, his team focuses on prompt communication, creative problem-solving, and ensuring the terms they provide accurately address the insured’s unique needs.
In 2018, Austin found that the insurance industry offered him the growth and time he needed for his growing family. He started his insurance career as an Associate Broker at Southwest Risk on an energy and environmental team, branching into construction in 2020. He joined Brown & Riding in 2026. Before switching to insurance, Austin previously worked in car sales.
Austin attends Wholesale & Specialty Insurance Association (WSIA) and National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) events regularly each year. His core philosophies are to take ownership of everything presented to him and to live with a heart of service. Outside of the office, he enjoys fishing, hiking, and camping with his family.
