Cristi Carrington receives Earle Dillard Award
Brown & Riding is proud to announce that Cristi Carrington has received the 2023 Earle Dillard Award from the Wholesale & Specialty Insurance Association (WSIA). This award honors the contributions and outstanding service of a WSIA committee chair. Cristi has served as the organization’s PAC Committee Chair since joining the WSIA Board of Directors in 2021. During this time, the PAC has seen record-breaking fundraising under her leadership, raising $253,282 during 2022, exceeding its goal. According to WSIA, “it is a privilege to recognize Cristi for this outstanding effort on behalf of the association, particularly during a challenging time that offered fewer opportunities to raise funds during in-person events. Her creativity and unwavering support are appreciated.”
This award is named after Earle Dillard, who led a number of American Association of Managing General Agents (AAMGA) initiatives over many years, contributing to the development of many of AAMGA’s operating policies and the formation of the AAMGA University Foundation in 1988. He also served as AAMGA President from 1973-1974. The AAMGA merged with NAPSLO in 2017, becoming WSIA.
