About Taylor
Taylor Wilkinson is a Vice President and Broker within Brown & Riding’s National Property Practice. He specializes in complex shared and layered property programs with additional expertise in stock throughput and builder’s risk placements. His direct experience in the U.S. retail, U.S. wholesale, and London wholesale sectors gives him a unique, in-depth understanding of insurance distribution, service, and marketing. He approaches his role with a clear and deliberate strategy: build the right relationships, develop a strong team, and let the results follow. A firm believer in mentorship as a cornerstone of professional development, Taylor works closely with new team members to help them understand account nuances, market strategy, and develop the judgment and confidence needed for long-term success. He takes a thoughtful, hands-on approach to understanding the needs of his retail partners and their clients, going beyond routine processes to ensure the right program is structured and placed with the right markets.
Taylor graduated from University of Georgia’s Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) program. He began his career at Aon before moving on to USI. He then relocated to London in 2020 to gain new perspective, experience a startup culture, and sharpen his technical skills. Taylor has created and led four different teams during his career. He joined Brown & Riding in 2025.
With an Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Taylor also holds licenses in surplus lines and retail P&C. While working for CJ Coleman, he regularly contributed to the Lloyd’s Broker Academy as a presenter. He has served as a guest lecturer for University of Georgia’s RMI program. He has also volunteered with Junior Achievement and has served on the Young Alumni Board for the Terry College of Business since 2017, contributing to fundraising and awareness efforts for the school. In 2026, Taylor was a finalist for the Insurance Insider US Broking Rising Star of the Year award.
