About Robert
Robert Conyers, Jr. is an Assistant Vice President and Broker at Brown & Riding who specializes in the Energy sector. He began his insurance career in 2015 by interning while still in college, and upon graduation in 2017, he joined B&R full time in an entry-level position. He became an Associate Broker in 2019, and in 2020, he became a Broker. Later that year, he earned a promotion to Assistant Vice President.
In 2021, Robert helped expand Brown & Riding’s national footprint by opening the firm’s Louisiana location. Also in 2021, he participated as part of a team of four who won the 2021 Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers (CIAB) Broker Smackdown Regionals in Chicago, representing B&R. He and his team then went on to win CIAB’s 2022 National Broker Smackdown.
Robert graduated from the University of Mississippi with degrees in Risk Management & Insurance, Managerial Finance, and Marketing. He attends the IRMI Energy conference as well as WSIA and specializes in Energy assets (upstream, midstream, downstream), Energy service contractors (engineering, construction, maintenance), and Manufacturing (chemical, oil & gas, environmental products).
