About Lisa
Lisa Rodriguez is a Principal, Senior Vice President, and Brown & Riding’s Non-Profits: Human Services Practice Leader. She has been working in the insurance industry for over 25 years and has been with Brown & Riding since 2000 (formerly Alexander Morford & Woo, before the company merged with B&R in 2010). Starting in an entry-level position, she worked her way up to Broker in roughly 6 years’ time by building her own book of business from scratch. Lisa is an expert on the D&O exposures plaguing non-profit organizations as well as private company EPL, sexual abuse and molestation (SAM), school leaders E&O, and coverage for public officials. She has achieved significant growth during her tenure, establishing the company’s small business unit, which is high volume, low cost, and high profitability. She adeptly manages thousands of accounts and has been a company Principal since 2011.
Lisa was recognized as a Top Specialist Wholesale Broker by Insurance Business America in 2024. She has always been very involved in the insurance community and has been teaching continuing education courses for over 15 years. She currently teaches courses on private company EPL, non-profit D&O, and SAM coverage. Lisa is an active member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) and the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of King County (IIABKC). She is currently serving on the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) Pacific Northwest Chapter Board.
