About Jeff
Jeff Rodriguez joined Brown & Riding as Chief Operating Officer in 2005. He was named President in 2007 and Chief Executive Officer in 2010. During his tenure, Brown & Riding has achieved significant growth, organically and through strategic acquisition, and has earned marked recognition at local, regional, and national levels. The firm has become one of the largest wholesale insurance brokerage firms in the United States and remains the largest fully independent privately owned E&S wholesale broker in the country.
Jeff has earned a Bachelor’s in Economics from San Jose State University and an MBA from St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California. He has also earned numerous insurance certifications including Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM). He is frequently called upon to speak at regional and national industry events. Before entering the insurance industry, Jeff served three years active duty in the U.S. Army, military police corps, both in domestic and foreign duty assignments.
