About Harrison
Harrison Scheider joined Brown & Riding in 2018 as a Broker in the Environmental Practice Group. He has more than 17 years of experience and has worked on both the retail and wholesale sides of the industry.
Scheider began his insurance career when he was just 14, working at his family’s retail agency; he had his P&C license by the time he was 18. Scheider is highly specialized in the environmental insurance sector. He leverages his knowledge of coverage gaps created by pollution exclusions and federal environmental laws to help agents secure new revenue streams and to protect current clients that use environmental insurance.
Scheider has worked on the creation of multiple environmental insurance programs for specific classes, including the first ever environmental insurance program for farms in 2014. He has also worked as an environmental insurance consultant in the past, and with a national book of business that continues to grow, he was named a 2018 Top Specialist Broker by Insurance Business America.
