About Daniel
Daniel Filbey is part of a team of highly experienced professionals that place property risks where the standard marketplace cannot provide coverage. He began his insurance career by joining Brown & Riding in 2016 as a Production Assistant and grew his talents very quickly, becoming a Production Associate in 2017, an Associate Broker in 2018, and a Broker later that same year. He was further promoted to Assistant Vice President in 2020. In 2022, Daniel became a company Principal.
Daniel has been a member of the California Association of Insurance Professionals (CAIP) since 2018, and was a Board Member of the organization from 2019-2022. In 2021, he was a Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers (CIAB) Broker Smackdown Regional winner, and his team then went on to win the 2022 CIAB National Broker Smackdown. Daniel is a graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Risk Management & Insurance and also has a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
