About Andrew
Andrew Grim joined Brown & Riding in 2014 to start the firm’s Dallas, TX office. Within his first three years with B&R, he became a company Principal. In 2021, he became National Casualty Practice Leader, and for each of the past five years, he has been a top new business producer for the firm, specializing in construction.
Andrew is a critical member of B&R’s Construction Practice Group, which is highly proficient at placing General and Excess Liability policies (including, but not limited to, annual, Project Specific, OCIP/CCIP, Builder’s Risk, and Professional Liability), and commercial and residential Wrap-Ups. Throughout his career, he has been an innovator of Excess & Surplus Lines products and works closely with B&R associates to solve the needs of strategic clients and their respective insureds. He maintains a very high commitment to excellence through his professionalism and transparency with clients and carriers.
Andrew also oversees the “Rainmaker Group,” B&R’s professional development program for aspiring brokers. He was recognized as one of 2019’s “Hot 100” by Insurance Business America and was also named 2019 “Young Broker of the Year” by Insurance Insider, an award celebrating a single, key individual in the global broking sector, aged 35 and under, who has made significant contributions to the industry and its future development.
