About Andrew
Andrew Giordano has been a company Principal of Brown & Riding since 2017, originally joining the firm as a Broker in 2016. He has been in the insurance industry for 20 years and has developed extensive expertise and specialization in Dealers Open Lot (DOL), including becoming a Lloyd’s coverholder for DOL in 2021. He also has marked expertise in Real Estate, including habitational accounts and complex risks. Andrew has a wealth of experience and has worked on both the carrier and wholesale sides of the industry.
Andrew has shown consistent success and growth throughout his career. He has attended Brown & Riding’s President’s Invitational, the company’s annual sales trip, which acknowledges the firm’s own top producers. Prior to B&R, Andrew was a Property Broker at another leading wholesale brokerage firm where he was also honored with the company’s Top Sales Award. Andrew originally began his insurance career in 2002 as a Property Underwriter for a property and casualty insurer in Chicago. In 2003, he joined another E&S insurer, becoming a Senior Property Underwriter. He transitioned to wholesale brokerage in 2008.
Andrew has earned both the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI) designations.
