Brown & Riding is pleased to announce the launch of its new national Private Client Practice, a specialty practice area focused on affluent personal lines risks. The practice is led by Courtney Kerr, a seasoned private client professional, and backed by a team with extensive experience in affluent personal lines, complex personal risk management, and the development of bespoke insurance solutions for high-net-worth individuals and families.
“We utilize carefully selected carrier and market relationships, exclusive program access, and a collaborative underwriting style, all designed to foster long-term partnerships, rather than one-off transactions,” said Courtney Kerr, National Private Client Practice Leader. “Everything we do centers on transparency, responsiveness, and creativity so our retail partners feel confident and supported in front of their clients.”
The Private Client Practice helps retail agents deliver customized protection for affluent and high-profile clients, including coverage for primary, secondary, and vacation homes; fine art, jewelry, and other collectibles; yachts; high-value and collector vehicles; comprehensive personal liability; and primary and excess flood, among other specialty areas.
“At Brown & Riding, we have always believed the best outcomes stem from dedicated expertise. Our Private Client Practice was built with that same philosophy: a team singularly focused on affluent personal lines, with the market relationships and creative structuring ability that only comes from that kind of focus,” said Cristi Carrington, Chief Distribution Officer. “We look forward to supporting Courtney and her team as they develop the practice to deliver an outstanding experience for our retailer partners and their clients.”
