B&R recognized in Top 10 of medium employer category
Brown & Riding has been named as a 2019 “Best Places to Work in Insurance” by Business Insurance and Best Companies Group. This annual feature recognizes companies in the insurance industry for their outstanding performance in establishing workplaces where employees can thrive, enjoy their work, and help their companies grow. This year’s report features 100 companies of various sizes, from 26 employees to more than 5,000. Brown & Riding ranked 6th in the medium employer category (250-999 U.S. employees).
The “Best Places to Work in Insurance” program recognizes agents, brokers, wholesalers, insurance companies, and other industry providers who have demonstrated the highest levels of employee engagement and satisfaction. Best Companies Group identifies these leading industry employers by conducting a free, two-part assessment of each company. The first part is a questionnaire completed by the employer about company policies, practices, and demographics. The second part is a confidential and anonymous employee survey on engagement and satisfaction. The final report divides employers into the categories of small (25-249 employees), medium (250-999 employees), and large (1,000 or more employees).
