Brown & Riding has been recognized as a “5-Star Wholesale Broker” for the seventh straight year.
Insurance Business America (IBA) conducted their annual survey to identify the best wholesalers and has named B&R a “5-Star Wholesale Broker” for the seventh year in a row. Wholesale brokers were ranked on a scale of 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent) in 10 categories. Wholesalers who received an average score of 4 or higher in any category received a 5-Star designation for that category.
We are honored that retailers rated B&R as providing 5-Star service in all 10 survey categories, earning B&R the additional designation of “All-Star.” This designation was introduced by IBA in 2019 to recognize companies earning five stars in every category. This year marks B&R’s fifth year as an “All-Star,” receiving this designation every year since inception. B&R was also awarded a Brokers’ Pick medal for professional liability.
Below are the 10 different service categories, which are listed in order of importance (as determined by retailers).
- Overall responsiveness
- Technical expertise and product knowledge
- Ability to place niche or emerging risks
- Range of products
- Reputation
- Pricing
- Technology or automation
- Compensation (commissions, bonuses, profit sharing, etc.)
- Marketing support
- Geographical reach
