Brown & Riding has been recognized as a “5-Star Wholesale Broker” for a sixth consecutive year.
Insurance Business America (IBA) has conducted their annual survey to find the best wholesalers and has named B&R a “5-Star Wholesale Broker” for the sixth year. Retailers have given their feedback and determined that B&R has 5-Star service in 10 different categories. This earns B&R the extra designation of “All-Star” which was introduced by IBA in 2019. The “All-Star” designation recognizes that a company has earned five stars in every category. This is the fourth year that we are receiving this designation.
Wholesalers are ranked in 10 different categories which are listed below in order of importance (as determined by retailers).
- Pricing
- Overall responsiveness
- Range of products
- Technical expertise and product knowledge
- Ability to place niche or emerging risks
- Compensation
- Technology / automation
- Marketing support
- Geographical reach
- Reputation
Producers were asked to rate wholesale brokers on a scale of 1 (poor) to 10 (excellent) in the above 10 categories. The wholesalers who received an average score of 8 or higher in a category received a 5-Star designation. We are honored to once again receive this award in all categories.
